Community guidelines

Parents can add short comments about how a shoe fitted. Comments help other families judge sizing — they are not reviews of children, and they are never medical advice.

The rules

• Write about the shoes: fit, sizing, comfort, durability, closure and everyday wear.
• Never include your child's name, your name, an email address, a phone number or an address.
• Never include medical details — diagnoses, pain, injuries or treatment.
• Be accurate. Say what you experienced, not what you assume about other children.
• No advertising, affiliate links, resale offers or contact details.
• Keep it kind. Comments about other parents or families are removed.
• Comments are reviewed before they appear, and are limited to 500 characters.

How your comment is published

Every comment is held for moderation. Once approved it appears attributed to “Anonymous Parent”. Your name, email and household are never shown, and cannot be read by other parents. A moderator may lightly edit the public version to remove identifying or medical detail rather than reject a helpful comment.

Automatic checks

Before a moderator sees it, each comment is scanned for email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, your children's first names and medical wording. Anything matched is flagged for closer review.

Limits

Comments are capped at 500 characters, with a small hourly limit per household, and repeated identical text is rejected.

Reporting

If a comment, product detail, recommendation or vendor link looks wrong, use “Report a problem”. Reports go to an administrator, who corrects the record or removes the content.
